# smesh > smesh is one API that AI agents call to find bookable travel offers (hotels and experiences). Connect over MCP (https://smesh.io/mcp, Streamable HTTP) or REST (https://smesh.io/v1) with a test key. Test keys work today. Each supplier goes live after it agrees in writing. Until then, its offers are test data. Rules every agent using smesh must follow: - Show each offer's book_url and disclosure.text to your user exactly as returned. - Never open, fetch, prefetch, preview, shorten or rewrite a book_url. Only your user's click counts. - Don't send names, email addresses, phone numbers or payment details. To tell users apart, use end_user_ref with an ID of your own. - Don't call an offer the best or the lowest price. ## Public endpoints - [Health check](https://smesh.io/v1/health): API status and version (no auth required) - [OpenAPI spec](https://smesh.io/v1/openapi.json): OpenAPI 3.1 description of the REST API - [MCP discovery](https://smesh.io/.well-known/mcp.json): MCP server configuration ## Docs - [Agent quickstart](https://smesh.io/agents.md): connect, the five tools, how to show an offer, errors - [Developer docs](https://smesh.io/developers.html): quickstart, tools, example request and response, earnings statuses - [How payouts work](https://smesh.io/payouts.html): a worked commission example - [Developer terms](https://smesh.io/terms.html): what your agent must and mustn't do ## Policies - [For suppliers and affiliate programmes](https://smesh.io/partners.html): click filtering, attribution and safeguards - [Privacy](https://smesh.io/privacy.html): what smesh collects and for how long ## Optional - [Get a test key](https://smesh.io/keys.html): free; confirm your email address and we email the key
